Growing up in a small town, her greatest inspirations were her parents, siblings and extended family, many of them small business owners. Her Mother, an artist, antique collector and advocate for historic preservation, encouraged her and her siblings to be creative in all aspects of life. Whether it was decorating her dollhouse or dorm room, designing yearbook layout or writing for the local paper - it was all about being your own artistic individual.
"The most courageous act is still to think for yourself. Aloud."
- Coco Chanel
Drawing on life experience and her travels throughout the Southeast, Gulf Coast and the World, Jennifer culminates a carefully-edited style as individual as her clients. She scours the nation’s best venues for antiques and found objects that will be meaningful and representative of the lives of her clients. The result is harmonious to the eye, pleasant to the touch with a bit of drama and whimsy thrown in. All the while taking queue from her Mother and Grandmother to draw outside the lines, take a compliment with grace and never point out your flaws because darling you are the only one to notice.
